UNODA Young Women for Biosecurity Fellowship 2025

The UNODA Young Women for Biosecurity Fellowship 2025 is a three-month programme for ten competitively selected young female scientists from the Global South. It combines online biosecurity workshops, mentorship and networking, and a five-day field visit to Geneva during the Seventh meeting of the BWC Working Group on the Strengthening of the Convention. The fellowship aims to support women in biosafety and biosecurity to learn, network and contribute perspectives to the field.

Participation in online workshops, dedicated mentorship and networking opportunities, and a five-day field visit in Geneva during the 7th meeting of the BWC Working Group.

Applicants must identify as female, be under 35 at the time of applying, be a citizen of a BWC State Party listed as least developed country or a low- or lower/upper middle-income country, hold at least a master’s degree in life sciences or a related discipline, have at least three years of work experience, currently work in a related field, and demonstrate English proficiency.
