The Gilman-McCain Scholarship (John S. McCain International Scholarship for Military Families) provides an award for child and spousal dependents of active or activated United States military personnel to study or intern abroad on credit-bearing programs. Applicant must be a U.S. citizen or national, an undergraduate student in good standing, a dependent (child or spouse) of an active or activated U.S. military member, and a recipient (or applicant) of Title IV federal financial aid during the time of application or during the study abroad program or internship; must be applying for or accepted to a credit-bearing study abroad or internship program.
