The CIFAR Azrieli Global Scholars Program provides early-career researchers with a two-year opportunity to develop and lead interdisciplinary research, expand professional networks, and receive leadership training. Selected Scholars join CIFAR’s interdisciplinary research programs and receive funding and mentorship to support their independent research.
Avantages & financement
Unrestricted research funding of CAD 100,000 over two years, opportunities to apply for seed funds, mentorship and leadership training, and membership in the CIFAR Global Scholars network.
Conditions d'éligibilité
Applicants must hold a PhD (or equivalent), hold a full-time position at an institution of higher education or research with leadership responsibilities, and have started their first position no earlier than July 1, 2021 and no later than December 31, 2025; postdoctoral fellows are not eligible.
