Friedrich Ebert Stiftung (FES) Scholarship 2026-2027

The Friedrich Ebert Stiftung (FES) Scholarship is a fully funded programme for undergraduate, master’s, and doctoral students in Germany, combining financial support with mentoring, leadership training, and policy engagement. It targets academically strong students who also demonstrate social responsibility and democratic values, aiming to develop future changemakers who contribute to society. The scholarship covers living costs and additional support such as health insurance contributions and family allowances where applicable, with emphasis on social engagement and political participation.

Monthly stipend; health insurance contributions; family allowance for scholars with children; mentoring, leadership seminars, policy dialogues and an alumni network.

Open to German and international students enrolled at public or state-recognized universities in Germany; eligible for Bachelor’s, Master’s, and PhD programmes across all disciplines.
