Academic Excellence Scholarship (International) 2026

The Academic Excellence Scholarship (International) is a funding award for international postgraduate students enrolling at Bournemouth University. It provides a tuition fee reduction for eligible full-time taught postgraduate and certain structured part-time on-campus courses. There is no separate scholarship application; eligible students are automatically considered.

Tuition fee reduction (£4,500) for eligible postgraduate programmes; can be combined with Sports or Music scholarships but not with other academic awards.

Open to international (overseas) fee-paying applicants who meet Bournemouth University’s postgraduate admission standards and hold a minimum of a 2:1 or First-Class Honours degree or equivalent.

No separate application required; eligible international postgraduate applicants are automatically considered.
