Diaspora Scholarship 2026 at University of Pécs

The Diaspora Scholarship 2026 is a fully funded scholarship for members of the Hungarian diaspora to pursue Bachelor's, Master’s, or Doctoral degree programmes at the University of Pécs in Hungary. It covers full tuition waivers for the duration of the chosen programme, a monthly living stipend, accommodation support, and medical insurance. Applicants must have lived outside Hungary for at least 10 consecutive years and completed secondary education abroad in the past four years, with study options available in English or Hungarian across 280+ programmes at the University of Pécs.

Only applicants who are part of the Hungarian diaspora living outside Hungary, with long-term residence abroad, are eligible. Applicants may apply for Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctoral degree programmes.

Applications must be submitted through the Tempus Public Foundation’s online application system, selecting the University of Pécs as the first priority institution, uploading required documents, and obtaining validation of a diaspora recommendation.
