CAPAL Public Service Internship & Scholarship Program 2026

The CAPAL Public Service Internship & Scholarship Program provides paid internships across the United States, plus leadership development and mentorship opportunities, to support students pursuing public service careers in policy, research, community development, or federal initiatives. The program includes placement across various locations, a Washington Leadership Program, community action projects, and a CAPAL–MAASU scholarship for undergraduates at MAASU member institutions. Participants receive a stipend and access to professional development and networking events with leaders in public policy.

Open to current undergraduate or graduate students who are committed to public service and serving AANHPI communities; applicants from all majors are welcome.

Submit an online application form with personal statement, résumé, transcript, and a letter of recommendation; rolling reviews with interviews for finalists.
