CAAS Opens Fully Funded Master’s, PhD Scholarship Opportunities for 2026-2027 International Cohort

The Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences offers fully funded and partially funded scholarship tracks for international students to pursue Master’s or Doctoral degrees, General Scholar, or Senior Scholar programs across more than 30 institutes in fields including agricultural sciences, life sciences, engineering, environmental sciences, veterinary sciences, and management. The programs are delivered in English or bilingual formats, with scholarships covering tuition, stipends, accommodation, and other benefits. Applications are open for the 2026–2027 intake, with multiple government, internal, and fellowship scholarship tracks available.

Tuition waiver, monthly stipend, free accommodation, medical insurance, and research support; track-specific benefits including conference attendance and travel support for certain fellowships.

Applicants must be non-Chinese citizens in good health. Master’s applicants should have a bachelor’s degree and be under 35; doctoral applicants should have a master’s degree and be under 40; General Scholar applicants should have completed at least two years of undergraduate study and be under 45; Senior Scholar applicants should hold a master’s degree or comparable rank and be under 50.
