ÉTS-Mitacs Accelerate Fellowship 2026

The ÉTS-Mitacs Accelerate Fellowship is a funded research internship program that supports graduate students to combine their academic research with practical experience in partner organizations. It provides substantial financial support for internships tied to ongoing research projects supervised by ÉTS faculty and partner organizations, with dedicated funds allocated to the student for personal funding and project costs.

Financial support for internships, personal funding for the student, funding for research-related costs, and structured professional development training.

Applicants must be enrolled full-time in a master’s (thesis or project) or PhD program at ÉTS. The program is open to citizens, permanent residents and international students who meet the enrolment requirement; internships must be hosted by partner organizations.

Submit the application through the ÉTS Mitacs Accelerate Fellowship page; applications should be prepared in coordination with the supervising ÉTS professor and partner organization and submitted at least six weeks before the intended internship start date.
