The Dr. Raymond Shanahan Memorial Prize is a biennial award that recognises outstanding original research or clinical observations related to cardiovascular disease. It is offered to graduates of medical schools (including UCC) who are post-registration non-consultant hospital doctors or equivalent in a GP Trainee Scheme. The prize provides a monetary award to support a full-time student.

Conditions d'éligibilité
Applicants must be a graduate of UCC Medical School or a graduate of another medical school currently training in teaching hospitals; applicants must be a post-registration non-consultant hospital doctor or equivalent in a GP Trainee Scheme. Submitted work must be based on original observations or research related to cardiovascular disease.
Candidature
Submit a copy of the research work and a supporting letter from the Head of Department confirming primary authorship by email to mga@ucc.ie.
