Fulbright Scholarships For Norwegian Students 2026

The Fulbright Scholarships For Norwegian Students 2026 funds Norwegian applicants to pursue a master's or doctoral degree at accredited universities in the United States. The scholarship provides partial financial support and requires study or research in the USA on a J-1 visa with the program's two-year home-residency condition. Applicants must not have already begun their degree program in the United States and the US host institution must be accredited. Interviews for shortlisted candidates are conducted by Zoom.

Partial funding of NOK 200,000 toward master's or doctoral study in the United States.

Open to Norwegian citizens; dual Norwegian–American citizens are ineligible. Applicants must have completed a bachelor's degree or equivalent by spring 2026 and must not have already begun their degree program at a US university. Candidates with medical degrees may apply but may not see patients while in the United States.
