Mersin Büyükşehir Belediyesi Öğrenim Yardımı Bursu

The Mersin Metropolitan Municipality Education Assistance Scholarship is a funding programme for students residing in Mersin to support university-level studies. It provides scholarships for students admitted to either two-year associate programs or four- to six-year bachelor programs, with varying annual amounts. The burs are issued for the first years of study and are disbursed during the 2025-2026 period with multiple disbursements.

Financial support in the form of university scholarships; scholarship cards issued after document submission; online pre-registration followed by document submission at designated course centers.

Applicants must be residents of Mersin pursuing a university undergraduate or associate degree, hold Turkish citizenship, have won placement in a state university via YKS (AÖF, DGS, YÖS excluded), have won a 100% scholarship at a foundation (private) university in Türkiye or KKTC with the student’s parents residing in Mersin, and be registered at the chosen university.
