The Congressional Internship Program places undergraduate students in paid internships in U.S. congressional offices for cohorted Summer and Fall sessions. The program includes an orientation, weekly leadership development sessions, community service, and networking events in Washington, D.C. Participants gain legislative knowledge, cultural competency, professional skills, and mentorship through CHCI programming and congressional office work.

Conditions d'éligibilité
Applicants must be enrolled full time and working towards an undergraduate degree in the academic period prior to participation; recent graduates who graduate in the term immediately prior to the program session may apply. Applicants must be U.S. citizens, lawful permanent residents, asylees, or otherwise lawfully authorized to work full-time for any U.S. employer; international students on F-1 or M-1 visas are not eligible.
Candidature
Submit a written application via CHCI's online application portal and complete an asynchronous prerecorded interview if selected as a finalist; applications are reviewed by a selection committee of alumni, board members, and staff.
