The Data for Farm Value Global Challenge 2025 is a global initiative by FAO and the University of Helsinki’s Viikki Food Design Factory to support startups using farm-level data in innovative ways. It seeks scalable digital solutions and fair data-sharing business models that include smallholder farmers in the value chain. Benefits include pitching opportunities at FAO forums and related events, networking with the agrifood innovation ecosystem, and a cash prize for the winner.

Conditions d'éligibilité
Registered companies with at least two team members, working 50% or more on the solution; Technology Readiness Level 3-7; minimum pre-seed to at most Series A funding with revenue under €500k/year; startups worldwide; ability to attend FAO events in Rome and Helsinki as needed; submissions in English.
