The EAC University Exchange Scholarship Programme enables students from East African and other African countries to pursue undergraduate or postgraduate studies in other EAC member states to foster regional integration. The programme provides tuition support and may include additional benefits such as living expenses, accommodation and travel. It is administered by the East African Community (EAC) and is open to students studying at the eligible academic levels.

Open to students from Algeria, Angola, Benin, Botswana, Burkina Faso, Burundi, Cabo Verde, Cameroon, Central African Republic, Chad, Comoros, Congo (Brazzaville), Congo (DRC), Cote d'Ivoire, Djibouti, Egypt, Equatorial Guinea, Eritrea, Eswatini, Ethiopia, Gabon, Gambia, Ghana, Guinea, Guinea-Bissau, Kenya, Lesotho, Liberia, Libya, Madagascar, Malawi, Mali, Mauritania, Mauritius, Morocco, Mozambique, Namibia, Niger, Nigeria, Rwanda, Sao Tome and Principe, Senegal, Seychelles, Sierra Leone, Somalia, South Africa, South Sudan, Sudan, Tanzania, Togo, Tunisia, Uganda, Zambia, Zimbabwe studying at the eligible level (undergraduate or postgraduate).
