Hindu Kush Himalaya – Arctic Youth Leadership Forum 2025

The HKH–Arctic Youth Leadership Forum is a one-year fellowship facilitated by ICIMOD and Arctic Circle that connects youth leaders from the Hindu Kush Himalaya and Arctic regions to build solidarity and co-create climate solutions. The programme provides capacity-building, training, mentorship, and opportunities to engage with international forums, along with travel and participation support for the Forum launch in Reykjavik, Iceland, in October 2025.

Fully covered travel, accommodation, and participation costs; capacity-building and mentorship; regional and global visibility; access to a network of youth leaders, scientists, and policymakers; participation in conferences; certificate of participation and reference letters.

Applicants must be between 19–35 years of age, be a citizen of an HKH or Arctic country, and be part of a youth-focused climate or environmental organisation or programme with demonstrated leadership and a commitment to gender equality and inclusive engagement.
