NORHED II Norwegian Capacity Building Programme Africa

The NORHED II Norwegian Capacity Building Programme Africa supports PhD training, joint research and academic exchange between African and Norwegian higher-education institutions. It provides cohort-based, funded PhD positions to build capacity at African universities. The programme facilitates research collaboration and mobility between partner institutions in Africa and Norway.

Tuition coverage, stipend, research costs and travel support for mobility between African and Norwegian institutions; may include living expenses.

Open to students from eligible African countries (listed) for PhD-level studies and related academic exchanges.
