European Prize for Women Innovators 2026

The European Prize for Women Innovators is a prize awarded by the European Institute of Innovation and Technology (EIT) and the European Innovation Council (EIC) to women entrepreneurs behind Europe’s notable innovations. It includes three prize categories with monetary awards for top applicants and a focus on female founders within the EU and Horizon Europe associated countries.

Prize money awarded to winners; recognition and visibility as leading women innovators.

Applicants must be women, founders or co-founders of a company or organisation, and be legally established in an EU Member State (including overseas territories) or Horizon Europe associated country; the applicant or the company/organisation must have been established before 1 January 2023; and previous EU prize recipients cannot receive a second prize for the same activity.
