ASEM-DUO Wallonie-Bruxelles

ASEM-DUO Wallonie-Bruxelles is a mobility scholarship programme that funds paired, simultaneous exchanges between a researcher or academic staff member from the Fédération Wallonie-Bruxelles and a counterpart at an ASEM Asian partner institution. Mobilities provide reciprocal immersion for periods of three weeks up to two months and are open to all academic disciplines. The programme is implemented through joint applications submitted by institutional pairs and evaluated by a selection committee.

One-time lump-sum allowance of 5 000 EUR per binôme to cover international transport contribution and per diem for both participants; reciprocal in-person mobility of 3 weeks to 2 months.

Applicants must be academic or research staff of an institution of the Fédération Wallonie-Bruxelles and apply jointly with a counterpart from an Asian partner institution; mobilities must be simultaneous and crossed. Students and doctoral candidates are explicitly excluded.

Form a binôme between a Fédération Wallonie-Bruxelles institution and an Asian partner, prepare the joint dossier (application form, partnership agreement, project description, CVs) and submit it to ARES for evaluation by the ASEM-DUO selection committee.
