Programme de bourses d'excellence WBI (Wallonie-Bruxelles International) pour Master

The WBI Excellence Scholarship programme (Wallonie-Bruxelles International) provides financial support to international students who wish to pursue a Master's or specialized Master's at French-speaking Belgian institutions. Priority is given to strategic domains linked to Walloon competitiveness clusters such as aeronautics, life sciences and logistics, while remaining open to humanities and fundamental sciences. The scholarship funds living expenses, international travel and health insurance and is awarded for the duration of one academic year (10 months). Eligible candidates are holders of a foreign higher-education degree and must demonstrate academic excellence.

Monthly allowance (€1,300), return international travel, comprehensive health insurance; tuition fee exemption may be granted by host university subject to agreement.

Applicants must be nationals of a country other than Belgium, hold a foreign higher education degree, demonstrate academic excellence and intend to enrol in a Master's or specialized Master's programme in the Fédération Wallonie-Bruxelles.

Consult eligible Master's programmes at a host university, complete the application form and submit the required documents (CV, motivation letter, certified diplomas and transcripts, recommendation letters, study/research project) via WBI or the host university's official platforms; dossiers are evaluated by a committee.
