The Champions de l'Égalité des Sexes de l'UIT160 is a selection process led by the International Telecommunication Union (ITU) in partnership with the Government of Canada to recognise and empower nine young women aged 18 to 25 who contribute to digital development and transformation. The selected Champions will engage with key players in the digital and technology sectors, participate in sessions and activities, and co-design and facilitate a workshop on promoting gender equality in digital transformation. The programme covers travel, accommodation, health and accident insurance, and a daily allowance for the duration of the stay in Geneva.

Conditions d'éligibilité
Open to young women aged 18 to 25 who work in digital development and/or digital transformation, with preference given to candidates from developing countries, least developed countries, landlocked developing countries and small island developing states; indigenous women and women with disabilities are strongly encouraged to apply.
