Fulbright Scholarship 2025-2026

The Fulbright Scholarship is a prestigious, competitively selected, fully funded programme enabling international students, researchers, artists and young professionals to study or conduct research at U.S. institutions. The programme awards approximately 4,000 grants worldwide each year and covers study, research and exchange opportunities at U.S. universities. Madagascar is listed among the more than 160 eligible countries for the programme.

Open to holders of at least a first university degree (equivalent to a U.S. bachelor’s), artists and young professionals; applicants must be citizens or permanent residents of their country of application, have strong English proficiency and a solid study or research project. Country-specific conditions apply and applications are evaluated by U.S. embassies or binational Fulbright commissions.

Contact the Fulbright Commission or the U.S. Embassy in Madagascar for local procedures and submit a complete dossier including CV, study/research project, motivation letter, letters of recommendation and, where required, test scores (e.g. TOEFL, GRE).
