The Government of Romania MFA Scholarships are merit-based programs funded by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for international students outside the European Union to undertake undergraduate, master's, or doctoral studies at Romanian public universities participating in the program. The program includes a mandatory Romanian language year for most undergraduate and master’s tracks, with options for English or other languages in some doctoral programs. Beneficiaries receive full tuition coverage, a monthly stipend, housing allowances, and Romanian language courses; programs are hosted at multiple public universities in Romania.
