NL-High Potential Scholarships

The NL-High Potential Scholarships are fully funded master's scholarships offered by Maastricht University for international students from outside the European Union. They fund a 13- or 25-month master’s programme across multiple faculties, with a focus on attracting high-calibre candidates from eligible non-EU countries. The scholarship covers most living costs and university fees, with certain allowances and health insurance support, but does not cover airfare.

Monthly/semester allowances as specified, housing and living cost stipends, health and civil liability insurance, visa assistance.

Applicants must hold a bachelor’s degree and be international students who do not reside in the European Union, with priority given to candidates from listed non-EU countries and regions.

Submit required documents via the Maastricht University scholarships portal by the deadline; maintain admission to a relevant master’s programme at Maastricht University.
