The Ireland Fellows Programme Courtney Fellowship 2026-2027 is a fully funded sponsorship for a Burundian student to study the MPhil in International Peace Studies at Trinity College Dublin. The award covers programme fees, flights, accommodation and living costs, and is designed to begin in August or September 2026, with a duration of between 10 and 16 months depending on the programme. The programme is managed under the auspices of the Irish Department of Foreign Affairs, with support from ICOS and coordinated by the relevant Irish Embassy for eligible countries.

Fees, flights, accommodation and living costs are covered for the duration of the master’s programme in Ireland.
Conditions d'éligibilité
Applicants must be a resident national of Burundi, have at least three years of relevant work experience, hold a bachelor’s degree awarded in 2014 or later with a GPA of 3.0 (on a 4.0 scale) or equivalent, not already hold or be starting a master’s degree at the time, and be able to commence a master’s programme in Ireland in 2026/27; they must also demonstrate leadership, commitment to the SDGs, and English proficiency.
