Vocational Training in Germany Including Schengen Visa and Residence

The ESO offers a vocational training program in Germany for up to three to nine months. The position includes a monthly salary, housing in Germany, health insurance, and visa assistance. The program is open to applicants from around the world and is hosted by the European Southern Observatory (ESO) in their Communications division.

Applicants should have prior experience in science communication or science journalism and a basic understanding of astronomy to engage with scientific papers; fluency in English (written and spoken) is preferred. Candidates who are currently studying or have recently completed a university degree in science, science communication, or science journalism are welcome.
