Bulgarian Government Scholarship 2026

The Bulgarian Government Scholarship is a fully funded programme for international students to study undergraduate, master's, or doctoral programs at Bulgarian public universities. It provides full tuition coverage, a monthly stipend, and housing support, with an optional pre-sessional year for Bulgarian language learning. It targets non-EU/EEA applicants from countries with cultural and scientific cooperation agreements with Bulgaria and offers study in various fields across Bulgarian universities.

Applications are coordinated locally in the candidate's country through the relevant authorities (often the Ministry of Education or a designated body) and forwarded to Bulgarian partner institutions.
