Jiří Dienstbier Journalism Fellowship

The Jiří Dienstbier Journalism Fellowship is a seven-month programme for journalists from the Western Balkans to develop free and professional journalism. Fellows spend six months at the RFE/RL headquarters in Prague, with daily training, mentoring, and editorial exposure across traditional and digital platforms, followed by a final month at a local RFE/RL bureau. The programme includes a monthly stipend, accommodation, health insurance, and travel costs.

Candidates must have at least two years of journalism experience, must actively work in media in their country or for their domestic audience, and must possess working knowledge of English; applicants should share RFE/RL's mission to promote free and open societies.
