Future Leaders Exchange (FLEX)

The Future Leaders Exchange (FLEX) is a cultural exchange program funded by the U.S. Department of State that enables Georgian students to study in an American high school and live with an American host family for one academic year. Selected participants are funded by the U.S. government and participate in a cohort-based exchange experience abroad.

Full funding for the exchange year, placement in an American high school, and housing with a host family.

Applicants must be Georgian citizens born 2009-01-01 to 2010-12-31, currently in 9th–11th grade; must not have spent more than 90 days in the U.S. in the last 5 years and must meet U.S. visa requirements. For students with disabilities, eligible birth dates extend to 2008-02-15 to 2011-07-15 and include those in 8th–12th grade.
