The Black Screen Office (BSO) and CMPA offer a Black Producer Accelerator Program to support the career advancement of Black Canadian producers in the Canadian screen industry. The program places mentees with mentor companies for a 20-week, 40-hour-per-week placement, with financial support for the participant and stipends funded by mentor contributions. The initiative aims to equip participants to be hired by a mentor producer’s company or another production company in the future.

Conditions d'éligibilité
Open to candidates who self-identify as Black and who are Canadian citizens, permanent residents, or person(s) with refugee status, who are legally entitled to work and not an employee or family member of the mentor company.
Candidature
Submit both mentor and mentee applications with letters of intent, résumés, and a completed work plan as part of the form.
