Vienna International Postdoctoral Program

The Vienna International Postdoctoral Program (VIP3) is a fully funded postdoctoral fellowship at the Vienna BioCenter, offering interdisciplinary research opportunities across multiple labs for a period of three years. Fellows are supported with a structured training and career development program, a two-mentor scheme, and access to a broad network of researchers and mentors. The program targets candidates with strong research profiles and aims to foster independent scientific careers.

Salary paid annually; comprehensive health insurance; family allowances; mentoring and career development support; access to a broad research and professional network; secondment and transferable skills training.

Applicants must hold a PhD by the application deadline, work on an interdisciplinary project bridging two VBC groups, have at least one (co-)first-author publication, and meet the MSCA mobility rule restricting prior residence in Austria within the last 12 months.
