Competition for Youth-Led Projects 2026-2027

The Competition for Youth-Led Projects awards two prizes of 3000 CHF each to youth-led projects that contribute to disaster risk reduction and resilience to floods and drought. Proposals must be practical, time-bound (up to 9 months), and demonstrate youth leadership (aged 18–35) with clear objectives and outputs. Selected projects receive guidance and support from experts in floods and drought management over the implementation period.

Prizes of 3000 CHF for each of two projects; guidance and support from experts on floods and drought management during the 9-month implementation period.

Projects must be youth-led (18–35) with active participation of youth in all activities, be practical with defined objectives and timelines, and aim to enhance resilience to floods and drought with tangible outputs within 9 months.
