The Mediterranean Capitals of Culture and Dialogue is an annual joint initiative by the Union for the Mediterranean (UfM) and the Anna Lindh Foundation (ALF) that designates two cities, one from the northern and one from the southern Mediterranean, as Capitals of Culture and Dialogue. Selected cities host a year-long programme of events highlighting regional cultural heritage and contemporary creativity, engaging local cultural institutions, schools, universities, and civil society organisations. The title is awarded to cities that have not previously held it and culminates with a major celebration on the Day of the Mediterranean on 28 November.
Conditions d'éligibilité
Local or regional authorities representing cities in UfM member states that have not previously held this title.

Submit an application as a city (local or regional authority) to participate in the designation process.
