Collections Grants 2026 | Funding for Exhibitions and Art Projects up to $100,000

The Collections Grants program offers planning and implementation grants to museums, cultural institutions, and art organizations to reinterpret and present American art collections in more inclusive and diverse ways. It supports projects that enhance access to the arts, expand understanding of American art history, and encourage community engagement through exhibitions and reorganization of collections.

Funding for planning and implementation of exhibitions and related activities, support for reorganization of art collections, and capacity-building for institutions.

Open to museums, cultural institutions, art organizations, and nonprofit organizations; institutions inside and outside the United States are eligible.

Applicants are museums or cultural/nonprofit institutions.
