The Applied Physicist for CMS Inner Detectors is a paid CERN staff/contract position working on algorithms, FPGA firmware and data acquisition systems for CMS online luminosity measurement, beam monitoring and Tracker calibration for the High Luminosity LHC. The role includes integrating and commissioning back-end systems, validating front-end detectors and electronics, leading test campaigns, and coordinating technical interfaces across detector, trigger, timing and data acquisition domains. The post involves supervising and mentoring students and fellows and requires close collaboration with collaborating institutes and on-site detector integration activities.

Conditions d'éligibilité
Applicants must be nationals of a CERN Member State or Associate Member State (with specific exclusions listed). A PhD or equivalent relevant experience in Physics or a related field is required. Previous CERN Staff contract holders are not eligible.
