The Electrical Technician is a paid technical fellowship-style position at CERN working on qualification and characterisation of High Temperature Superconductor (HTS) tapes and cables for the HL-LHC and for high-field magnet development. The role involves electrical and material testing, instrumentation installation in superconducting magnets, and participation in assembly and testing of high-current transmission systems. The position includes on-the-job and formal training and may be extended up to 36 months.

Conditions d'éligibilité
Applicants must be nationals of a CERN Member State or Associate Member State (with some nationalities excluded as listed). By the application deadline they must have a maximum of 2 years of professional experience since graduation in a technical or administrative field, hold at most a general secondary education diploma or a shorter non-university degree, must not hold a bachelor’s, master’s or PhD, and must never have had a CERN fellow or graduate contract before.
