The Data Analyst for Beam Instrumentation is a funded, contract position within CERN's Beam Instrumentation Group working on the LHC Longitudinal Density Monitor (BSRL). The role leads development and optimisation of online and offline Python data processing pipelines, diagnostics and calibration routines, and contributes to R&D and upgrade validation for LS3. The post involves analysis of experimental beam data, software engineering, and Monte Carlo-based studies to support LHC operations and experiments.

Conditions d'éligibilité
Applicants must be nationals of a CERN Member State or Associate Member State (applications from Pakistani, Lithuanian, Latvian, Cypriot and Croatian nationals cannot be considered). By the application deadline, candidates must hold a master’s degree with 2 to 6 years of professional experience since graduation or a PhD with a maximum of 3 years of professional experience since graduation; candidates with only a bachelor’s degree are not eligible. Candidates must never have held a CERN fellow or graduate contract before.
