Arturo Falaschi SMART Fellowships – September 2026

The Arturo Falaschi SMART Fellowships provide mobility for researchers to spend between 3 and 9 months at a laboratory in an ICGEB Member State other than the fellow's own, with the aim of enhancing hands-on training in new technologies and fostering scientific collaboration. The programme covers travel, health insurance, and a subsistence stipend for the fellow, with additional bench-fee support allocated to the receiving laboratory. It is designed for early-career researchers and scientists at the beginning of their research careers to promote collaboration between ICGEB Member States.

Open to scientists who are nationals of ICGEB Member States and who are at the early stage of their career, including those who have obtained a PhD within the last 5 years or hold an MSc; fellowships are for 3 to 9 months of research at a laboratory in an ICGEB Member State other than the fellow’s own.
