Technik-Sommercamp

The Technik-Sommercamp is a week-long residential practical camp run by FH Aachen and the Handwerkskammer Aachen that introduces technical trades, electrical engineering and smart building technologies to secondary-school pupils. Participants work in small teams under the guidance of university professors and master craftsmen to convert wooden model houses into energy-efficient smart buildings, installing solar modules, energy-saving systems and programming components. The camp also includes career-orientation elements to help pupils explore study and apprenticeship pathways in technical fields.
