The Africville Heritage Trust (AHT) Society, in partnership with Waterbury Newton Law Firm, runs a scholarship program to provide financial assistance for post-secondary education to former Africville residents or descendants, as well as students who contribute to the society's mission through advocacy, research, publications and training. The fund supports up to five individual scholarships annually, totaling $5,000 each year, at accredited Canadian post-secondary institutions.

Conditions d'éligibilité
Canadian citizen; a former Africville resident or descendant of a former Africville resident; graduating high school student or mature student entering a Canadian post-secondary institution, or a student currently enrolled who will return to school the following year; not an employee or immediate family member of a Scholarship Committee member.
Candidature
Applications should be directed to the Scholarship Selection Committee at the Africville Heritage Trust Society.
