A-PIC 2026: Probability, Information, Computing (in Africa)

A-PIC 2026 is a summer school on probability, information and computing held at AIMS Rwanda. It is aimed at students and young researchers to give foundations for further study and theoretical research and to facilitate scientific exchange. Courses and invited lectures cover topics such as differential privacy, algorithms and combinatorics, information theory and martingales. Courses will be taught in English.

Travel (flights and visa) coverage if applicable; full accommodation and local stay coverage in Kigali; possibility to present a short talk for PhD/postdoc participants.

Young researchers and students at the level of Master's studies, PhD studies and postdoc (up to 6 years after the PhD graduation). Female candidates and candidates from less privileged regions or groups are especially encouraged to apply. PhD and postdoctoral students are encouraged to give a short talk about their ongoing research.
