Georgia Tech Physics REU

The Georgia Tech Physics REU is a ten-week summer research program hosted by the Georgia Tech School of Physics and funded by the National Science Foundation. Participants work under the supervision of a physics faculty member and a graduate mentor on focused research projects across areas such as atomic physics, astrophysics, condensed matter, quantum materials, biophysics, soft/active matter, nonlinear physics, and AI in particle physics. The program includes a hands-on computational workshop, an overnight trip to a National Laboratory, professional development seminars, weekly seminar series, social activities, and culminates in presentations at a Georgia Tech REU Poster Symposium.

Summer research mentorship, stipend, free on-campus housing, computational workshop, trip to a National Laboratory, seminar series, professional development sessions, poster presentation at REU symposium.

Physics majors are invited to apply.
