The School of Computer Science Studentship at the University of Leeds is a fully funded PhD studentship supporting research on mixed precision methods for numerical linear algebra at exascale. One funded place is available for full‑time PhD study in the 2026/27 academic year. The award covers full academic tuition fees and provides a tax-free maintenance grant of £21,805 per year for 3.5 years, and access to the university's research facilities and doctoral community. The project is supervised by Dr Massimiliano Fasi.

Conditions d'éligibilité
Open to UK and international applicants. Applicants should normally hold a first-class or upper second-class British Bachelor’s Honours degree or an equivalent qualification in an appropriate discipline; relevant academic or industrial experience may be recognised. Applicants who already hold a PhD or are currently registered for a PhD are not eligible.
