European Space Camp 2026

The European Space Camp is a one-week residential summer camp at the Andøya Space Center offering hands-on experience with a real rocket campaign, lectures by scientists and engineers, and field activities in northern Norway. The 2026 edition runs from July 26 to August 2, 2026 and admits 24 young adults who will participate in group work, lectures, and a rocket launch. The programme combines technical training in rocket physics and related topics with social and outdoor activities such as a hike to the ALOMAR research station and midnight-sun swimming.

Free accommodation (double room) and meals, on-site facilities (auditorium, meeting rooms, computers), social activities, participation in a rocket campaign and lectures; travel support up to €1,000.

Applicants must be aged 17–20 (born 01.01.2006–31.12.2009), have a strong interest in physics/STEM, good English, attend an Austrian school based in Austria, and demonstrate social/team skills.
