Marine Biology Summer Science Camp

The Marine Biology Summer Science Camp is a week-long, hands-on science camp that uses a multidisciplinary approach including chemistry, oceanography, ecology and marine biology to study oceans, marine life and human impacts. The program includes major lab sessions, minor labs in other science disciplines, a mid-program excursion to a local science venue, dissection labs and engineering/problem-solving activities. Sessions are offered for rising 6th–8th graders with day, extended day and overnight participation options. Meals and shared dorm accommodations are provided for overnight and extended day campers where indicated.

Curriculum Monday–Friday, hands-on major and minor labs, mid-program excursion to a local science venue, meals for extended day and overnight campers, shared dorm accommodations for overnight campers.

Middle school students; the program is for rising 6th through 8th graders who are interested in oceanography and marine biology.
