WIPO South Africa Summer School on Intellectual Property and Transfer of Technology (MUT – WIPO Summer School 2025)

The WIPO South Africa Summer School on Intellectual Property and Transfer of Technology is a hybrid short programme hosted by Mangosuthu University of Technology in cooperation with the World Intellectual Property Organization. It is designed for senior students and young professionals to gain deeper knowledge of intellectual property domains and the role and functions of WIPO. The programme includes lectures, case studies, simulation exercises and group discussions and awards a certificate of participation to those who meet programme requirements.

Certificate of participation for those who meet requirements; insurance coverage for non-resident participants during the stay.

Open to senior students (graduate and postgraduate) and young professionals from any field or discipline; applicants must have successfully completed the WIPO Distance Learning Course on Intellectual Property Management (DL 450) before selection.

Register via the WIPO registration portal and submit a résumé, ID or passport and a motivation letter (maximum 300 words). Access to WIPO Distance Learning Course DL 450 will be made available upon registration.
