Scholarship for the field of social care

The Scholarship for the field of social care is a publicly funded scholarship to support students in education leading to the professional qualification social worker. Scholarships are awarded by the Public Scholarship, Development, Disability and Maintenance Fund of the Republic of Slovenia on the basis of a public call. Recipients must meet conditions set out in the public call and conclude a scholarship agreement which defines obligations including subsequent professional employment.

Monthly scholarship payments (scholarship for the current academic year is paid generally by the 15th day of the month for the previous month).

Applicants must be enrolled in a study programme leading to the qualification social worker, be first-time enrollees in that programme, and must not be in employment, self-employed, registered as unemployed, or be an executive/director of a company or private institute in Slovenia or abroad.

Selection is by public call; the text of the public call and application form are available on the fund's website and at the fund's office during business hours.
