NOAA National Hurricane Awareness Tour — Gulf Coast

The National Hurricane Awareness Tour — Gulf Coast is a series of public events hosted by NOAA and the U.S. Air Force Reserve during National Hurricane Preparedness Week. The events invite media and the public to tour NOAA and Air Force hurricane reconnaissance aircraft and meet NOAA hurricane experts, scientists, and flight crews. The tour provides a close-up look at aircraft used for hurricane forecasting and preparedness and offers opportunities for interviews with NOAA and Air Force Reserve personnel.
