The Robert-Wichard-Pohl-Preis is an annual award presented by the Deutsche Physikalische Gesellschaft (DPG) for outstanding contributions to physics that have significant impact on other disciplines in science and engineering or that notably advance the dissemination of scientific knowledge in physics teaching and didactics. The award comprises a certificate with a laudation and a monetary prize of 7,500 Euro. The prize is typically granted to a single person, but may be shared equally if awarded to multiple recipients. Conditions d'éligibilité
Nominations must be submitted (self-nominations are not permitted). Nomination dossiers must include a one- to two-page justification, a short laudation, a curriculum vitae, optionally a publication list, and suggested referees. Selection is by a six-member prize committee appointed by the DPG board.
