Informations
The Infrastructure Priority Programme (InfPP) “New Data Spaces for the Social Sciences” (SPP 2431) is a long-term DFG funding scheme established to support research projects that develop and test new forms of data generation, collection and integration for empirical social research. The programme comprises two three-year project funding periods; the first began in 2024 and the present call invites project proposals for the second funding period (2027–2030). It supports interdisciplinary work across social sciences and computer science, with a focus on methodological innovation, multimodal data acquisition and the use of AI. Projects are accompanied by the programme's Research Infrastructure and Innovation Lab (ENTAILab), which provides services for data collection, processing and analytics.
